Jane Eyre’s husband, Mr. Rochester, has died and her old friend St. John Rivers comes to take her away to the tropics.  In her absence her estate is taken over by Livia and Chester Servermoor, ruthless Corporate Owners of Global Fad.  Can Jane, now a prisoner in her own gothic mansion ever regain her power?

JANE HEIR was first performed at the Judson Church in 1988, Part One.  Then, a month later, the entire opera was given at The Middle Collegiate Church co-produced by The Divine Theater Company.  Then in 1989 it was performed for a week at P.S. 122.
